below are rough labor cost. i work around the country depending on the season and weather. it takes on average 1 to 3 weeks to get everything lined up for a new project.
Also due to increasing costs, i have had to raise prices for the 1st time in 10 years. to keep it fair prices are longer balanced out between barb wire, high tensile and field fence. field fence is costly to install correctly
Labor prices vary but average $1.50 to $3 per foot.
examples of pricing,
1500 to 2500 ft
Smooth wire, up to 6 braces, $2.00 per foot.
Feild fence, or sheep and goat, up to 6 braces $2.00 per foot
Barb wire and up to 6 braces, $2.00 per foot
More then 2500 but less then 5000 ft
Smooth wire 8 braces $1.50 to $1.75 per foot
Field Fence 8 braces $1.50 to $2 per foot
Barb Wire 8 braces $1.20 to 1.50 per foot
Per mile costs
Smooth wire up to 10 braces $1.25 per foot
Field fence same as above,
Barb wire, up to 10 braces $1.25
Material per mile on barb wire runs $.70 per foot. 20 ft t-posts, wood post every 100, 3 strands, 4 corners and 2 h braces/
Rocky soil? add .20 to .40 per foot depending on conditions.
Extra braces Average $150 for each brace or corner on top of per foot costs.
hill sides or steep terrain? add .40 to $1 depending on slope and type of fence.
less then 1500 ft goes by overall job and work involved and when theres time. most jobs below 1500 go for $2 to $3 per foot labor. It costs the same to do a small job as a big job.
